Committed to Making a Difference
The Steve Browne Foundation was founded in memory of Stephen Browne who passed away after a long battle with cancer in 2017. Steve had worked with and mentored young people primarily from the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest, Haringay and Hackney. Steve had been at the forefront of making a difference in young people's lives for over 20 years and was located at the intersection of community and young people lives. The Steve Browne Foundation is a life-affirming journey that builds on Steve's strength and lifelong values to support young people.
Committed to Enriching The Lives of Young People
Young people have so much to offer to their communities. We believe in the power that they hold and know that they will mould future generations.
At The Steve Browne Foundation we are here to give young people the support they need in order to shape their lives and that of their communities. We provide this through:
The provision of recreational, amateur sport and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare
Providing support and activities which develop skills and capabilities
Acting as a resource for young people up to the age of 18 living in London by providing advice, support and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities
At the Steve Browne Foundation, we’re committed to building a society where every young person can easily realise their potential and achieve their goals. We believe that providing young people with support and a nurturing environment is essential to their overall development. Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, and through personalised attention and guidance we are essentially providing them with all the resources they need to thrive as leaders in years to come.
